3. Plans for new residential development in South Gloucestershire to get green light

   Plans put forward by developer Taylor Wimpey for a large residential-led scheme in South Gloucestershire are set to be approved by the local authorities, a local news source was able to reveal.

   The company wants to build 550 houses on a 37-acre site in Stoke Gifford. Planners at South Gloucestershire Council have recommended the project be approved, subject to certain conditions.

4. Productivity boost drives growth among South West SMEs

   Manufacturing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the South West have continued their solid growth due primarily to a sharp boost in productivity, a recent news report in the local business media was able to reveal.

5. Up to 1,000 new jobs could be created as part of Forest of Dean redevelopment scheme

6. More than 100 jobs saved in Cornwall as part of estate deal

   Over 100 jobs were saved at a four-star hotel and spa in Tregorrick, St Austell, after it was sold following the appointment of administrators, a recent news report in the local business media was able to reveal.
