Fudge maker to create new jobs after relocation
A well-known Cornish fudge maker has created several new jobs and tripled its production space after relocating to new premises, a news report in the local media has been able to reveal.
The Buttermilk Confectionery Co produces fudge and other confectionary and has acquired the 1.75 acre site on the Cooksland Industrial Estate in Bodmin in June 2014. The company then did some further investments in renovation and new machinery allowing it to increase its production from 1,200 kg to 1,500 kg of fudge per day.
The move has allowed the business to take on three skilled technicians as well as sales and marketing appointments.
